ST. GEORGE — Results are beginning to roll in from Utah’s primary election with the initial drop of mail-in ballots being reported from the state.
Early result show Rep. Jon Curtis in lead for the Senate race while in the Second Congressional District race Rep. Celeste Maloy and challenger Colby Jenkins were nearly an even split, with Maloy soon polling ahead as reported continue to come in shortly after 8 p.m.
The Associated Press is calling the senate race for Curtis as of 8:35 p.m.
Gov. Spencer Cox also leads challengers Rep. Phil Lyman in the gubernatorial race for the time being.
Results will be updated as they come in from state and county sources, with a full report published on St. George News on Wednesday, June 26.
