CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — A new option for affordable pharmaceuticals has arrived in Hurricane. Family Healthcare is expanding its existing integrated health care services to include discount pharmaceuticals.

The clinic already provides various services under one roof, including medical treatment, mental health services and now pharmaceutical services. Hurricane residents can now take care of multiple health needs without having to travel to different locations. The clinic also offers the convenience of walk-in and same-day appointments for those needing care.
“We’re excited to bring these services to Hurricane,” said Lori Wright, CEO of Family Healthcare. “Our goal is to make health care and medications more affordable and accessible for everyone in our community.”
The new pharmacy is part of a growing network of Family Healthcare services and centers. In addition to the Hurricane pharmacy, Family Healthcare has a drive-through pharmacy in St. George and medical clinics in Hurricane, St. George, Cedar City and Springdale.
The new pharmacy offers special pricing for qualified patients. This program, supported by drug manufacturers, helps qualified health care providers give discounted drugs to people in need.
The new pharmacy comes with the following patient-friendly features:
Acceptance of most insurance plans.
Discount medications for qualifying patients.
90-day supplies of maintenance medications are available.
Pharmacists work closely with doctors.
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Prescriptions are filled quickly.
A medical and mental health clinic is in the same building.
Home delivery of prescriptions on Mondays is available.

Family Healthcare welcomes new patients and continues to offer an integrated approach to health. Doctors at the center are equipped to treat common illnesses, injuries and manage long-term health problems. They also offer women’s health services and provide walk-in and same-day appointments for urgent needs.
