As previously reported, Cedar City Police responded on the morning of Nov. 22 on a report that the C-A-L Ranch store at 750 S. Main Street had been burglarized the night before.

According to a press release issued Thursday morning by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the incident occurred shortly before midnight on Nov. 21.

ATF Special Agents also responded the following morning to assist Cedar City Police, along with ATF Industry Operations Investigators, who conducted an inventory to determine the exact number of firearms stolen. C-A-L Ranch Stores is a federal firearms licensee, according to the news release.

Store surveillance footage, excerpts of which can be seen in the video player above, shows three suspects, all wearing black masks and sweatshirts inside the store. The news release indicates the trio gained entry by crawling through the lower half of the entry door after breaking the glass.

“Once inside, they used various burglary tools to steal a large amount of firearms from display cases and gun racks,” the statement adds.

ATF is offering a reward of up to $2,500, which will be matched by National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry, for a total reward of up to $5,000. This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between ATF and National Shooting Sports Foundation in which the foundation matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers.

Anyone who may recognize the individuals in the video or who may have other information about this crime should contact ATF at (888) ATF-TIPS (1-888-283-8477) or the Cedar City Police Department at 435-586-2955 reference case number C23-04081.
