ST. GEORGE — Not sure how to keep the kids entertained this summer? The city is hosting several free events that will entertain the entire family, according to a recent press release.
From outdoor cinematic experiences to creative workshops, these activities can keep children engaged and active during the summer months.
“Movies in the Park are an excellent way to spend time with your family outside. Our first show, Shrek, kicked off the Memorial Day weekend and we were thrilled with the attendance and the vibe,” said Michelle Graves, assistant parks and community services director for the city of St. George. “It’s exciting to see the community come together to see these films under the stars.”
Twice each month — on the second and fourth Fridays through the end of August — Movie in the Park is set to entertain at Historic Town Square. Each movie will begin at dusk. Attendees are advised to bring a blanket or lawn chair, and refreshments.
The schedule for the remainder of 2024 is as follows:
June 14: The FlyBoys (8:54 p.m.)
June 28: Elemental (8:58 p.m.)
July 12: Jumanji (8:57 p.m.)
July 26: How to Train Your Dragon 3 (8:49 p.m.)
Aug. 9: Moana (8:29 p.m.)
Aug. 23: Wonka (8:11 p.m.)
