July 28, 1957-April 14, 2024

Dale Dee Stratton, 66, passed unexpectedly in his sleep on April 14, 2024. Dale was born in Cedar City, Utah, to Carl and Larett Stratton, the youngest of seven children.

He lived his younger years in LaVerkin, Utah. During his younger years, he got to spend some summers with his sisters and their families, as they had children close to his age After graduating high school, he married Christine Phipps on June 5, 1975.

Dale started working for his brother-in-law Bill in the printing field and worked several jobs until he settled with working for Vic Condie as a hod tender, building many buildings he loved to tell his children and grandchildren about. When they closed the St George location, he got his dream job working for Trees Ranch in Springdale, developing and maintaining the watering system. In June 2011 he started working for Budd Lee & Sons until his retirement date April 1, 2024.

He was “neater and sweeter than anything in Cedar.” Dale greatly enjoyed his family time, especially the grandkids, and fishing, hunting, camping, taking care of cows and rabbits and tinkering around the house and yard.
