Dave E. Deveraux, 91, passed away in St. George, Utah, on June 19, 2024, at the Sun River Retreat Assisted Living Center.

Dave was born in Darby, Idaho, on Dec. 27, 1932, to Albert Deveraux and Thelma Louise Johnson Deveraux. In 1954 he married Alice Stone and together they had a son, Brent Deveraux Hillman, they later divorced. Dave then married Catherine Miller in 1957, and to this union, three daughters were born: Susan (James) Sippola, Lorraine (John) Giannini, and Diane (Perry) Chapman. They later divorced. In 1969, Dave married Meryl Warren, who preceded him in death in 2012. Dave married Crystal Burnett in 2012, and she preceded him in death in 2018.

In Dave’s early years, he was raised in Darby, Idaho, and moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, attending school until junior year. With permission from his parents, he enlisted in the Navy at age 17. Dave’s passion as a salesman carried throughout his work at various jobs including his own specialty Deveraux brand X food van, delivering specialty meats and seafood. In Dave’s later years, he became a devoted follower of his religion.  He is survived by his son and three daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dave is preceded in death by his wives and a son Greg.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, at 11 a.m., at the Sun River 1st Ward, 4461 South Country Club Drive, St. George, Utah. The family will visit one hour prior.
