He later moved to Hurricane, Utah, in 1990. Gabe became active in soccer and Little League, progressing to track, football and basketball in high school. He earned his Eagle Scout award when he was 12 years old. Throughout Gabe’s school years, his favorite trophy he was awarded was a trophy given to him by Coach Homer, for the Greatest Brawn and Brains. He had the highest GPA on his football team. Many colleges were recruiting him to come play for their schools. He was particularly interested in Puget Sound. But he chose to put all that on hold to serve a two-year mission to Monterrey, Mexico.
After his mission, he went to Dixie State University. He met Jennifer Marie Ross, fell in love and the were married July 27, 2012. Brexton William, Benson Hunter, Brantley Winsor and Beckham Gunner soon joined their family. Gabe was a loving and wonderful father. He loved taking his boys for hikes and drawing with them. Jenn and Gabe have two angel daughters, Brisa and Kate, whom they loved with all their hearts.
Gabriel worked mainly at Ashley and Boulevard Home Furnishings. He loved helping people pick out their dream furniture.
He died too soon and way too young on Dec. 19, 2023. Survivors are his wife Jennifer Marie Ross Beaumont, his loving sons that he adored, parents Kelly and Dori Beaumont and Dale and Becky Johnson and many siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Dec. 22, at 1 p.m. at the Washington City Cemetery, 300 Park View Drive, Washington, Utah. A luncheon will follow.
