On Sunday at 9:13 p.m. MDT, the sun moves into the mutable Water sign of Pisces, marking a time when we are more aligned with our spirit and seek activities that provide a sense of purpose. As the final sign of the Zodiac, Pisces season offers us a way to distill experiences into meaning. It’s also a time of closure.
On Friday, Mercury will join the sun on Pisces. While this transit can cloud clear thinking, it magnifies creativity and empathy toward others.
But just as we begin to sink into the deep, spiritual waters of this season, a full moon in Virgo will illuminate the sky at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24.
A full moon symbolizes a culmination in a particular area of life. Energy is heightened and emotions can feel surface level. What has been hidden reveals itself. The energy builds about three days before the full moon and lasts up to two weeks.
The polarity between the sun in Pisces and full moon in Virgo highlights the mind, body, spirit connection. Psychic sensitivity and increased polarity could bring about tense circumstances pushing us to face what we’ve been avoiding. Pisces, which is associated with the crown chakra, asks us to consider our spiritual connection with the divine; whereas, Virgo, an Earth sign, asks to prioritize the body and the organization of our immediate environments.
The full moon will oppose both Saturn and Mercury, while also forming a harmonious trine with Jupiter in Taurus.
So what does this mean for you? Find out below.
Aries

You could be feeling a need for more rest and privacy over the next month, dear Aries, as you’re entering a solar cycle that has to do with your connection within. This is a time of closure for you and letting go of that which no longer serves you. Your dreams could be particularly active. Try to find time for silence and connecting with your spirit.
On Saturday, a full moon in your sixth house will oppose this energy, and pull you down to Earth. Matters related to your health and work expose may be exposed. You may need to organize or refine your daily routine in some way. While you may be tempted to escape from dealing with whatever arises, it’s better to confront the issues head on.
Taurus
April 20-May 20
Over the next month, the sun energizes your sector of friendships, group associations and loftiest dreams, launching a sociable time for you, dear Taurus. You are more goal-oriented now and desire to pour your love into group affiliations.
A full moon in your fifth house brings culminations related to children, creative projects, romance and hobbies. How you express yourself could feel emotionally charged. Funneling this energy into art or physical exertion could help disperse the overwhelm, and you could discover something significant as a result. You’re being asked to find a balance where it comes to connection, how you connect to yourself and how you connect to the world at large.

The sun crosses into your 10th house of career and legacy this week, which gives you a break from the feelings of restlessness you may have endured last month, dear Gemini. Now, the limelight is on you and your standing in the world. You’re driven to accomplish your goals and show off your skills. Contact with higher-ups increases.
The full moon in Virgo opposes this energy, however, and draws you inward toward the end of the week. Responsibilities at home or with a family member could take priority, and your work-life balance will be pulled into focus. A situation at home could reach a boiling moment.
Cancer
June 21–July 22
A lightness arrives for you now, dear Cancer, as the sun enters your ninth house of long-distance travel, higher education and adventure for monthlong stay. Your need for novelty and experiences that push you out of your comfort zone awaken, and it could feel as though you’ve taken off on a quest to find true meaning in your life. Follow your instinct and take a leap of faith.
The full moon in Virgo toward the end of the week could temporarily press pause on your quest, as it illuminates your third house of communication, short-distance travel and how you think. A need to deal with the daily monotony pulls your focus and increases feelings of restlessness. Finding a balance means doing what needs to be done so you may free yourself for adventure.

Entering a transformational sector of your sky this week is your ruler the sun, dear Leo, initiating a monthlong period where your focus turns to matters of intimacy, shared resources and power. Creating a budget and ridding yourself of habits that drain away your power are favored now. Powers of focus heighten, and you’re driven toward matters of depth. This could have you feeling much more introverted than usual.
But toward the end of the week, a full moon in Virgo stands opposite the sun’s energy, bringing matters of money and self-worth to the surface. This could provoke a type of internal battle where your desire for comfort supersedes all else. You are being asked to find a balance between give and take. How can you tend to your needs without eclipsing the needs of another?
Virgo
Aug. 23–Sept. 22
With the sun now standing across the sky from your sign, relationships take center stage for the next month, dear Virgo. More than any other time of the year, your desire to be with a partner is at the front of your mind. Personal interaction allows a mirror to parts of yourself otherwise hidden. And you are more willing to compromise and find common ground to facilitate harmony in a relationship. Single Virgos are likely to find themselves attracted only to those with whom they can envision a long-term connection.
On Saturday, a full moon occurs in your sign, which draws the energy back to yourself. If you’ve been feeling neglected or unseen, it could be more difficult to keep feelings at bay. It’s time to strike a balance between your needs and the needs of a close loved one. If you’ve been too focused on either end, a circumstance could present itself that pushes you to recalibrate.

You’re feeling energized to organize your life and commit to goals that improve your overall well-being. If there have been any ongoing issues related to work or health, you have the clarity to now redirect your path.
However, a full moon in your 12th house on Saturday temporarily opposes this energy, pulling hidden matters to the surface. This could unveil any subconscious blocks inhibiting your motivation. Retreating for the weekend could help you recharge and clarify what it is you need to let go. You are being pushed to consider who or what you serve, as well as find a balance between living in the present moment and connecting with spirit.

Now more than ever, you’ll be assessing activities for the joy they spark in your heart. Is it fun?
Opposing this energy temporarily on Friday, however, is a full moon that activates your 11th house of friendships and future dreams. Under this influence, you are drawn toward social activities and contemplate the greater purpose of your life. You are being asked to find a balance between a connection to self and a connection to humanity.

Opposing this energy on Friday, while also connecting fortuitously with Jupiter, is a full moon in your 10th house of career and reputation. Put simply, around this time, you are under the spotlight, especially when it comes to authority figures and the world stage. You could be called to step up as a leader. A promotion, raise of change of status is on offer for some.
Capricorn
Dec. 22–Jan. 19
It’s time to make phone calls, complete paperwork and take part in your community, dear Capricorn, as the sun has begun its monthlong stay in your third house, bringing matters of communication, short-distance travel and learning new skills to the center of your focus. This is a rather lively placement for the sun and indicates a busy time, where you are more likely to be engaged in conversations and short trips around town.
But toward Friday, a full moon will oppose both the sun and your ruler Saturn, prompting a restlesnessness to break away from the mundane. You are more likely to lose yourself to daydreaming or feel a little more impatient when it comes to dealing with banal tasks. If you can swing it, try to make time for a getaway this weekend, which will likely bring you back into balance.
