Judith Bozeman, 80, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 25, 2024. Judy, as everyone called her, was born in August 1943 in Worland, Wyoming, to Joseph Edward Maudru and Dorothy Van Valkenburgh. She married Keith Bozeman on Nov. 26, 1987, in Fremont, California.
Retired from a multi-decade career at an insurance company in Los Angeles, she and Keith settled in St. George in 2005 and began supporting the community at city and county levels as well as first responders and veterans. With a keen interest and love for our country and state, she shared her passion and “spunk” with senators, congressional representatives, mayors, city council members and anyone else who wanted to support their community and nation.
She is survived by her husband Keith in St George, Utah, and her son Nicholas Brigman and his wife Karen of Chantilly, Viginia, and their children Briana Khoury and her husband Chase of Denver, Colorado, and Hunter Brigman and his wife Hayley of Midlothian, Viginia, and their two children Eleanor, and Levi.
Judy is survived by her elder brother Bill Maudru, sister Jeanne Auger and sister-in-law Marilyn Maudru all from California. She is preceded in death by her eldest brother, husband of Marilyn, Joseph Edward Maudru Jr.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 3, at 6 p.m., at Hughes Mortuary, 1037 East 700 South, St. George, Utah. Friends may pay their respects and meet with the family from 6-7:30 p.m. To celebrate how Judy lived, friends are encouraged to come as you are — casual to your Sunday best.
