Phyllis Jean Strom passed on Dec. 10, 2023, at age 94. She grew up in Riverton, Iowa, and worked as a teacher in a one-room schoolhouse. She married Ralph Elijah Strom, and they are survived by daughter Sandra Wakefield and son Steven Strom, as well as grandsons Max and Nik Wakefield and great-grandchildren Cameron and Cove Wakefield.
Phyllis moved to Utah and worked at Hill Air Force Base. She attended Shepherd of the Hills Methodist Church in St George. Phyllis is remembered for her charm and the care she gave her family and friends.
She will be interred with Ralph Strom and their cherished Pomeranians Lily and Sparky at Tonaquint Cemetery.
