No serious injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred at approximately 3 p.m. and involved a silver Dodge Caravan minivan and a white Dodge pickup truck.
Cedar City Police Cpl. Aaron Condie said the driver of the pickup truck had been heading north on Westview Drive, while the driver of the van was attempting to make a left turn from Kingsbury Drive onto Westview Drive.
After impacting the front end of the van, the pickup truck rolled at least once and went off the roadway before coming to rest on its side next to a fence.
Witnesses reportedly were able to help the pickup truck driver out of his vehicle through the broken-out windshield. Although the man did not appear to be seriously injured, he was later transported to Cedar City Hospital for evaluation.
Neither of the two teenage occupants of the minivan were injured. However, the male driver of the Caravan was cited for failure to yield. Police noted that a utility truck parked alongside the roadway may have created a visual obstruction, making it hard to see oncoming traffic down the road.

Traffic along Westview Drive was impacted in both directions while tow truck operators worked to clear the wrecked pickup truck from the scene. The road was fully reopened by about 4:10 p.m.
The incident was the middle one of three collisions reported in Cedar City on Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., a two-car crash was reported near 2400 N. Main Street. Cedar City Police Sgt. Justin Ludlow said that in that incident, the driver of a red Camaro ran a stop sign and collided with a minivan. The minivan driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not thought to be serious, Ludlow said, adding that the Camaro driver received a citation for failing to heed the stop sign.
The third crash happened shortly after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Airport Road and 200 North and involved an SUV and a pickup truck. Ludlow said the SUV driver turned left onto Airport Road on a yellow light, colliding with the westbound pickup truck. The SUV driver was cited for failure to yield. No serious injuries were reported. Ludlow said the pickup truck driver complained of chest pains but was not taken to the hospital.
This report is based on statements from law enforcement officials and may not contain the full scope of findings.
