Our adored and beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and humble servant of our Heavenly Father peacefully and unexpectedly passed away in his sleep this morning May 13, 2024, at his home in St. George, Utah.
Everyone who knew him loved him. Although we are so happy that he has reunited with family and our Savior in our heavenly home, he will be sorely missed by his eternal companion Evelyn Camp of 57 years, his daughters Anita Camp Waugh (Lew Waugh), Connie Camp Abbott (Brian Abbott), Amy Camp, Amanda Camp Hendrickson (Duane Hendrickson), 14 grandchildren. and 12 great-grandchildren.
He has left a legacy of faith, perseverance, sacrifice, love and service to God, family, friends and country for all to remember him by.
Dick’s larger-than-life personality, humor, vivacity for life, love of the gospel of Jesus Christ and unwavering dedication to his friends and family has inspired many and will be missed by all.
We know that he has fought the good fight and has graduated from this life with honors. “Well done thou good and faithful servant Dick Camp.” We love you forever, until we meet again.
