ST. GEORGE — Utah Tech University women’s basketball will host two summer youth camps at Burns Arena this June and August, and registration for both camps is underway.

Utah Tech will hold its annual Little Blazer Camp June 17-19, with two sessions each day for all girls and boys in grades 1-8. The morning sessions will run from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. for all participants in grades 1-4, followed by the afternoon sessions from 12:30-3 p.m. for all participants in grades 5-8.
The Little Blazer Camp is designed for all levels of basketball, and campers will learn the fundamentals, footwork, shooting and team-oriented basketball skills from Utah Tech’s coaches and student-athletes.
Utah Tech will also host its annual Elite Camp Aug. 2-3, for all girls in grades 8-12. The Friday session will be held from 6-9 p.m., followed by the Saturday session from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., which includes lunch.
The Elite Camp is designed for intermediate and advanced players looking to improve their individual and team skills. The Elite Camp is a high-intensity camp run by Utah Tech coaches and student-athletes with the goal of helping each camper achieve their basketball goals and better their understanding of the game.

Cost: $85 (includes camp T-shirt)

Dates: Aug. 2-3
Ages: All girls grades 8-12
Session Times: Friday – 6-9 p.m.; Saturday – 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Cost: $100 (includes camp T-shirt and Saturday lunch)

The Trailblazers have added five transfers in the offseason: Brie Crittendon (Union, Kentucky/Eastern Kentucky), Andjela Colic (Belgrade, Serbia), Aaliyah Ibarra (Las Vegas, Nevada/College of Southern Nevada), Mattie Olson(Idaho Falls, Idaho/Montana State), and Chardonnay Hartley(Harlem, New York/Niagara).
Also joining Utah Tech will be incoming freshmen Ellie Taylor (West Jordan, Utah/Copper Hills High School) and Paige Cofer (Eagle, Idaho/Eagle High School).
