2 women in jail for allegedly stealing $2,500 in merchandise from St. George retailers

ST. GEORGE — Two women were arrested after being detained by store employees for suspected retail theft. Responding officers then found $2,500 in stolen merchandise in the vehicle the pair was traveling in, police say.

ST. GEORGE — A staff member of a residential youth crisis center on St. George Boulevard arrested last week for suspected child abuse is back in jail after reportedly applying to another juvenile facility in Washington County using false information, police said.
