PAGE, Ariz. — On Friday, at approximately 3:18 p.m., the National Park Service Glen Canyon Regional Communications Center was alerted of an overturned vessel on Lake Powell near buoy 12 at the mouth of Navajo Canyon within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Coconino County, Arizona.

‘They found the switch’: Bluff Street arrest leads to federal charge for alleged machine gun

ST. GEORGE — A suspicious odor and false identity claims led to the arrest of a fugitive out of Texas on weapons and drug charges filed in Washington County. Evidence found during the vehicle search in June led to the addition to two felony fugitive warrants for aggravated robbery and kidnapping filed in his home state, according to a federal indictment filed in U.S. District Court in St. George earlier this month.
