The Falcons started the scoring in the first quarter on a 54-yard touchdown pass from Jaxon Jensen to Deegan Davies.

Canyon View got the ball back, but an interception for a touchdown and a failed conversion left the Falcons ahead by one at the end of the first quarter, 7-6.

In the second quarter, Cort Moon hit Reggie Hafen for a 27-yard touchdown and again for the two-point conversion. Asher Slack drilled a 38-yard field goal for the Falcons to make the halftime score 14-10.

The Wildcats pulled away heavily in the second half while holding the Falcons scoreless in the third quarter, in large part thanks to three interceptions by Slade Reitz, one of which he returned for the pick-six in the first quarter to get Richfield on the board.

Richfield would go on to score 21 unanswered points before Jensen and Davies connected for a 36-yard touchdown pass for the Falcons to end the scoring for both teams. The two also connected for the two-pointer for a final score of 35-18.
