Every year, HedgeHog Electric & Solar goes on the hunt to find spectacularly decorated homes in St. George. And we’ve found some amazing displays again this year. You will see displays that dance to holiday music, a place to drop off letters to Santa, beautiful twinkling light displays and even homes with traditional Nativity scenes. There’s something fun for everyone!

The 10th annual HedgeHog Electric Christmas Light Map is available now, and you can find it online at Use it for a date night or family outing and have some good old-fashioned holiday fun!

Beautiful holiday displays are passion projects that bring joy

Darren Johnson has created a whimsical light show that has been in the works since August. Johnson has invested over 600 hours of work into this passion project and earned his place on the “2023 St. George Christmas Lights Spectacular” map. When asked why he invests so much time, effort and money into his light display, he responded: “I love to see the smile and joy on everyone’s faces when they watch the show. That’s pretty special to me, especially because that’s what this season is all about – spreading joy.”

Go experience Johnson’s light show for yourself at 3052 E. Photinia Drive in St. George starting Friday, Dec. 1 from 6-10:30 p.m. every night until Christmas Day, Dec. 25! Don’t forget to mark your calendars and drop by on Friday, Dec. 8 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for a meet-and-greet with Santa!
