CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Your patio is an extension of your home. And in a place like St. George, where people are outdoors virtually year-round, your patio is meant to be decorated, enjoyed and shared with the ones you love.

Patio Furniture is here to help Southern Utah customers transform their outdoor spaces into comfortable and stylish gathering places. With reasonably priced collections and accessories from some of the industry’s leading brands, you can make your patio feel just like your living room – only with a better view.

“If you look at our logo, ‘affordable quality’ is written below our name,” manager Dave Anderson said. “That really says it all.”

After almost five years of serving customers at their Bluff Street store, Patio Furniture recently relocated to a new 7,500-square-foot showroom on Gateway Drive. With so much space to explore and so many products to examine, they’ve created a comprehensive shopping experience.

Quality matters, Anderson said, but the key to choosing the right outdoor furniture that truly meets your needs is having the opportunity to try out a variety of pieces. Patio Furniture’s expansive and diverse showroom has a little bit of everything.

“We’ve always tried to make it a very relaxing, enjoyable environment,” he added. “And our sales process is friendly; there’s no pressure at all.”

Local entrepreneur Collins Stuart launched Patio Furniture in 2019 to meet a need he observed in the market. Other outdoor furniture stores in the area carry high-end products with a luxury price tag while big-box and online retailers provide cheaper options with no guarantee of durability, but what about all the customers in between? Patio Furniture occupies the middle of the market, offering everything from complete sets to individual pieces, plus accessories like pillows, umbrellas, rugs and fire pits.

“Our philosophy is to offer high-quality, affordable furniture and keep it in stock,” Anderson said. “If you see something on our showroom floor, we have it in our warehouse and you can get it on your patio today.”

Patio Furniture’s delivery team will deliver, assemble and arrange purchases for a nominal fee. They also handle service calls if anything needs to be repaired or replaced.

Patio Furniture carries brands customers know and trust, including Polywood. Made in the U.S. from recycled materials, Polywood is renowned for its quality and durability. Cushions, pillows and seat backs are covered with Revolution, their signature all-weather fabric, and every product is backed by a 20-year warranty.

“You’ll see very little fading over the life of the product,” Anderson said. “It’s our best-selling line; it’s got enough of a name that people seek out Polywood and find us.”

The high desert climate of Southern Utah can be unforgiving, so local customers need outdoor furniture that’s able to withstand the elements. From powder-coated aluminum to all-weather wicker, Patio Furniture’s products are carefully selected because they last for years through wind, heat, dust, sun and even snow. 70% of their stock contains Sunbrella, the No. 1 fade-resistant fabric in the industry.

While they settle into their new showroom, Patio Furniture invites customers to stop by and experience the difference that high-quality products combined with customer-focused service provide. They’ll also be adding exciting new collections in the early spring to coincide with the St. George Area Parade of Homes and their five-year anniversary sale.

As a locally owned and operated business, everyone at Patio Furniture takes pride in creating a store that caters to the community’s needs, desires and trends. Nowhere else in St. George will customers find a combination of quality and variety that fits most budgets, Anderson said.

“In a lot of ways, you do get what you pay for,” he added. “With us, you’re going to pay the very best price we think you can find in the market for your furniture.”
