As previously reported, ground was broken on the new facility in November 2021. The project was bolstered by some $1.9 million in federal grants.

According to a tribal news release, the new facility includes a pharmacy, 20 medical exam rooms, eight dental exam rooms and eight behavioral health exam rooms.

“Our new Cedar City location will improve care to the community by offering affordable medical, dental and behavioral health services in one location,” tribal officials said in the release. “With the larger facility, we look forward to serving more community members.”

The statement also noted that the clinic is open to everyone and offers a sliding fee scale for uninsured individuals.

“The tribe eagerly anticipates the positive impact this facility will have on their tribal community’s well-being, and the health of the Cedar City community,” the news release said. “With ample space for future services, FourPoints Health stands as a beacon of healthcare accessibility and support for the Paiute Tribe and beyond.”

FourPoints Health, which is owned and operated by the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah, provides high-quality, affordable primary, dental, and behavioral health care at five locations across Iron, Washington, Sevier and Millard counties.

Cedar City’s new clinic is located at 376 N. Paiute Drive. Its hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday (medical) and Monday-Thursday (dental). For more information, call 435-867-1520 (medical) or 435-867-2650 (dental).
