Aug. 17, 1949-Dec. 1, 2023

Helen Sue Taylor Cazier was born on Aug 17, 1949, to Ross and Nellie Taylor. Sue grew up in Parowan, Utah. She is the baby sister of Ross Nelson (Jane) Taylor, Thomas (Jan) Taylor. In her youth, she was involved in 4-H and taught other local girls in the community sewing and cooking. She was an accomplished pianist and played the tenor saxophone. After graduating from Parowan High, she attended Dixie Junior College on an academic scholarship, played in the jazz band and graduated with an associate of arts degree.

While attending college she met fellow student Roger Lee Cazier, fell in love and they were married. They were sealed for time and eternity on July 18, 1969, in the St. George Temple, and enjoyed 54-plus years of marital bliss. She is the mother to seven magnificent children: Gina, John (Marlene Baker), Daniel (Angie Bailey), Anjenette (Gary Hollomon), Neal (Kristin Ashby), Nicole (Levi Franco), and Elizabeth. She has 29 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Her love of music was a blessing to many. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she faithfully served in nearly every music calling possible. Playing the piano for the primary children was one of her greatest joys.

Sue worked at RAM Manufacturing Company for 37 years. She was very intelligent and learned quickly. She started as the front desk secretary and was promoted to office manager. If you asked any of her co-workers at RAM, they would respond, “She runs the place.” Her RAM family was important to her, and she worked there until the time of her passing.

Her life’s passion was being the head cheerleader for her entire family. She attended every extracurricular activity that any of her children were involved in. Family was everything to her. Even attending the activities of those whom she considered family. She was a loyal friend and trusted confidant. Mom’s smiling face, long talks and history lessons will be greatly missed. We will think about you always, we will talk about you still, you are forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
