FEATURE — Over the last month, Scorpio season pulled issues to the surface to provoke transformation. Now, as the season shifts into the sign of Sagittarius on Wednesday, Nov. 22, it’s time for rediscovery.

Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign ruled by the ninth house of higher wisdom, spirituality and long-distance travel. It seeks to expand how we view and understand the world.

Sagittarius season implores us to ask ourselves: “What do I serve?”

This is not a time to run back to one’s comfort zone; it’s time to integrate lessons learned over the last month and boldly invest in aspirations.

Symbolized as the centaur-archer, Sagittarius points to our quest in life and the spiritual navigation we carry within ourselves. It’s about trusting in ourselves and that our path will reveal what needs to change, so we may clear space for new beginnings.

Also this week, early morning on Thursday, Nov. 23, the sun will forge a stimulating square with Saturn. In the Jupiter-ruled signs of Sagittarius and Pisces, this indicates a powerful spiritual connection that is both adventurous and imaginative.

Mars will join the sun in Sagittarius on Friday, Nov. 24, at 3:15 a.m., further amplifying this energy and directing our focus to the area of life it transits.

So how does all of this speak to you and your sign? Find out below.

Aries
March 21-April 19

With the sun and your ruler Mars now entering your ninth house, your focus is turning to matters of adventure, higher education, long-distance travel and exploring the unknown, dear Aries. A deeply spiritual sector of your sky, the ninth house opens windows that have long been rusted shut. With new vistas in sight, your perspective blossoms and helps you re-direct your path. Toward the end of the week, you may feel a little more reflective, which is likely to help you integrate what’s coming forward.

Taurus

You’re entering a deeply transformative time, dear Taurus, as the sun is now entering your eighth house of power, intimacy, regeneration and shared resources. You are likely to feel more introspective over the next month and inclined to step away from the crowds. It’s a great time to consider your finances and create or refine a budget. With your ruler Venus opposing the wounded healer Chiron, taking stock of your habits and being mindful of escapist tendencies stimulates growth.

Gemini
May 21–June 20

The spotlight is now on relationships, dear Gemini, as the sun has moved into your sector of partnerships and contracts, joining your ruler Mercury. This is likely to increase your desire to pour energy into a relationship. And it’s through spending time with a close loved one that you are able to see parts of yourself reflected back. Finding balance also takes center stage over the next month, as you seek to work in collaboration with others. Mars joining this same part of this sky further energizes this part of your sky.

Cancer
June 21–July 22

How are you using your time? As the sun now enters your sixth house of daily routine, work and health matters, you are more motivated to clean up unhealthy patterns and organize the details of your life, dear Cancer. This also indicates an uptick in the pace of life. You are more able to realize the significant interplay between the mind and body and the impact of your immediate environment. Mars joining the sun later in the week may add to your workload, but try not to let this overwhelm you. The key is to refine your efficiency.

Leo
July 23–August 22

The sun entering Sagittarius is a vibrant time for you, dear Leo, as it activates your fifth house of play, pleasure, games, children and self-expression. This is a highly creative and inspirational time and highlights your naturally outgoing personality. You want to be where the fun is and follow your heart’s desires. This is a great time to pour energy into a creative outlet or physical exercise. Toward the end of the week, you may experience something that transforms you in some significant way.

With the sun now joining your ruler Mercury in your fourth house, you are entering a more protective time when your focus turns on home, family and emotional security, dear Virgo. You’re more inclined to want to stay home now and may feel lost in the nostalgia of reminiscing. Time with family can feel extra comforting and you want to indulge in creature comforts. But this also is about your connection with your roots. If you feel that you’ve become a little detached from yourself, now is the time to restore that sense of home within you.

Libra
Sept. 23–Oct. 22

Prepare for your daily life to pick up speed, dear Libra, as the sun now enters your third house of communication, transportation and learning. With Mercury also in this same part of your sky this week, you likely have the gift of the gab. If you want to share a message, interview for a job or present an idea, this is the time to go for it, as you’re likely to find the right words to say exactly what you want to say. Creative writing and filling out documents also are favored during this time.

As your season draws to a close, your attention is now shifting to second-house matters related to money and self-worth, dear Scorpio. Establishing a sense of security is of high importance, as well as indulging in comfort and the pleasures of the five senses. Dining at a favorite restaurant, wearing something luxurious and listening to your favorite music will provide a heightened experience. The second house also is about possessions, and you may be thinking about what you have. Be wary of impulsive shopping under this influence.

Sagittarius
Nov. 22–Dec. 21

Welcome to your season, dear Sagittarius. With the sun moving into your sign this week, you are likely to feel a powerful boost in energy, as this represents a rebirth of the self. This is a time that favors spontaneity and trying something new. The spotlight is on you, and you have a marked presence and confidence. With Mars also entering your sign, there could be a tendency to become overly self-centered or assertive. Avoid being pushy, and use this energy instead to fire up your engine to go after exactly what you want.

This next month is likely to have you desiring a recharge, dear Capricorn, as the sun now enters your 12th house of the subconscious, dreams and connection with the divine. Yes, even you need some time away from pushing toward your achievements. And with Mars also entering this same part of your sky, it would be wise to pencil in some time for rest, reflection and recharging your batteries. The 12th house also signifies endings, but these endings are meant to help clear space for blessed new beginnings.

Aquarius
Jan. 20–Feb. 18

A happy, lighthearted season is arriving for you, dear Aquarius, following a month when your career was likely pulling most of your attention. With the sun now joining Mercury in your 11th house of friendships and future dreams, you’re feeling more social with your vision set on the great beyond. The 11th house is the house of Aquarius, so this also may feel like coming home to yourself, as the sun illuminates your natural characteristics.
