ST. GEORGE — Northbound travel near Littlefield, Arizona, was interrupted on Sunday afternoon by a crash near mile marker 16 on Interstate 15.

The Arizona Department of Transportation announced that both northbound lanes were closed at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Officials have not estimated when the road will reopen and suggest that travelers expect delays and seek alternate routes. Traffic in the southbound lanes on I-15 was unaffected by the incident.
“There is no estimated time to reopen the northbound lanes,” transportation officials stated in the alert.
