Olga Margarita “Maggie” Kitchen, wife, mother and best friend, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 3, 2024. She was born on March 20, 1963, to Ramon and Socorro Aguero in Torreon, Mexico. She married Douglas Kitchen on Dec. 17, 1980, in the Provo Temple.

Maggie was a wonderful and loving soul who lived for her children and grandchildren. She loved life, music, dancing, and was always fun and full of laughter. She was a friend to all who knew her, loved to crochet and was a wonderful cook.

Maggie was very proud of both her Mexican heritage and her American citizenship. She dedicated her life to her family, but was generous to all, even complete strangers.

Maggie is survived by her husband, Douglas Kitchen; her daughter, Joanna Karina Nanney (Philip R.); her son, Jacob Ryan Kitchen (Liz); her granddaughters: Kaley Anique Nanney and Jax Denali Nanney; her grandson, Ryan James Kitchen; four brothers; and three sisters.

A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, located at 288 West St George Blvd, St. George, Utah.
