Pamela Maye Hansen Bice, age 62, passed away on Jan. 24, 2024 in St. George. She was born on June 13, 1961 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to LeRoy Charles Hansen, who preceded her in death, and Kristine Johnson Hansen of Enterprise.
She has one special sister, Shannon Dell Hansen, from Ballard, and two fabulous brothers, Klaine LeRoy Hansen, Cheshire, Conn. and Arlyn Todd Hansen, Lebanon, Ore. They were raised in Wisconsin, Illinois, Montana and Oregon.
After graduation, Pam attended Dixie College where she met and married her best friend, Virgil Lee Bice. They raised four incredible daughters: Stacy Maye Baxter, Lehi, Amy Nicole Bice, St. George, Christy Lynn Hosking, Moorpark, California, and Mandy Lee Staheli, Enterprise.
They expanded their beautiful family by adding three talented son-in-laws: Michael Dale Baxter, Aaron Lee Hosking, and Derrik J. Staheli. They also added eleven amazing grandchildren: Tyson, Madison, Jaxon, Anniston, Benson, Brinli, Jayde, Tayah, Declan, Tatum and Remi. Pam’s family was her greatest joy in life and serving them was her greatest pleasure.
Other things that brought her joy in life was devotion and service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, her friends, her job of 23 years as a severe special education paraprofessional, thrifting to find treasures to share and reading a good book with a bowl of popcorn.
Funeral services will be held on Jan. 27, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Red Cliffs Chapel, 1285 N. Bluff Street in St George. Arrangements are under the direction of Hughes Mortuary, 1037 East 700 S. St. George, Utah, 435-674-5000.
