ST. GEORGE — Three of the top four teams in Region 9 held serve Wednesday night as the Dixie, Snow Canyon and Desert Hills earned boys basketball victories.
The region-leading Flyers wasted no time against Hurricane, building a 47-18 halftime lead en route to an 81-49 final margin.
Second-place Snow Canyon held off host Crimson Cliffs 64-53, while Desert Hills handled Cedar 64-52. Pine View was idle and returns to the court Friday against Snow Canyon.
