April 25, 2019-Nov. 6, 2023

Remi Davis, 4 years old, of La Verkin, Utah, passed away and made her way into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, at 10:45 in the morning.

Remi had recently been diagnosed with leukemia on Aug. 30. While she was happy to be kicking cancer’s butt, complications of an infection are what swiftly and unexpectedly took her life.

Remi was born April 25, 2019, in St. George, Utah, to Taylor Davis and Cheyanne Davis (Livingston). Though her life here was short, she lived each day to the very fullest.

Her love for music and dancing made for many enjoyable and very loud moments. If there was an animal in sight, she wanted to love it and keep it, especially “Bisquit” from the local pet store. She reminded us for two years that we were supposed to get her that puppy.

The sass was unreal, and her humor was out of this world. For such a young thing, her soul was old and her heart so tender. Remi loved to learn and was thrilled to have started preschool this year.

Just days before her passing, she declared she was going to be a doctor when she grew up. Since her cancer treatments began, playing doctor had become one of her favorite things to play and her therapy.

Being a sister was her pride and joy. She was an adored little sister to an older brother and sister and her little sister and best pal looked up to her so much.

Remi loved being outdoors, whether it be in the mountains, at the lake or beach or just in the backyard. She could be found smelling all the flowers or picking them to give to someone.

In her final days, she got to trick-or-treat for Halloween, where she went as a fairy godmother. Saturday she was given the gift of a very special princess tea party. She truly was a princess to everyone.

Her smile could light up a room and her loves will forever be missed.

Remi is survived by her parents Taylor and Cheyanne Davis of La Verkin, Utah; her sister Teddy Davis; her brother Dixon Davis and her sister Dusti Davis, all of La Verkin.

The only public visitation will be from 6-8 p.m,. Friday, Nov. 17, at the Davis residence, 110 North State St. in La Verkin, Utah.

The public funeral will begin 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 18, at the LDS Stake Center, 481 N. Main St. in La Verkin, Utah. Remi’s family will be gathering for private family viewing time in the relief society room one hour prior to the public funeral.

Immediately following the funeral, the concluding service and interment will take place at the La Verkin Cemetery.
