Steven Edward Brandt, 65, of St. George, Utah, passed away on March 23, 2024, in St. George, Utah. Born on June 3, 1958, in Santa Monica, California, Steve was a master welder and fabricator known for his exceptional skills and dedication to his craft.

Steve’s career was marked by his passion for welding and fabrication. He had the honor of working on parts for the Space Shuttle Columbia during his time in California. His expertise extended to mechanical work, where he earned a reputation for being able to fix almost anything. In St. George, he lent his talents to various production facilities, forging lasting friendships along the way.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Steve found joy in music and the outdoors. He shared a love for music with his son, Marc, attending numerous concerts together. An adventurer at heart, Steve embraced outdoor activities such as boating, dirt biking, camping and snowboarding. His thrill for speed led him to enjoy Harley rides and water skiing. Deep-sea fishing was another cherished pastime that he shared with his son Talon.

Steve is survived by his sons Marc Edward Brandt and Talon Hayden Brandt; siblings Jeffrey Lane Brandt, Eric Lee Brandt and Marcia Denice Brandt Donnelly. He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald Lee and Carolyn Ann Brandt. Steve’s legacy lives on through the memories he created with his family and friends.

In honor of Steve’s remarkable life, a celebration of his life will be held to honor his enduring spirit and the impact he had on those around him. The date and time are TBD.
