The vehicles collided at the Main Street and Bluff Street intersection when the SUV ran a red light Wednesday at 10:44 a.m.

“A white passenger vehicle was traveling west on Main Street, going west,” St. George police officer Emilie Storm told St. George News. “There was an SUV heading north on Bluff; the northbound vehicle, according to witnesses, went through the red light as the white passenger vehicle was heading west through Main Street and Bluff Street and the intersection; they collided and went their separate ways.”

Storm said both vehicles had a female driver in their 70s and they did not sustain any severe injuries.

This report is based on statements from law enforcement officials and may not contain the full scope of findings.
