CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — On Oct. 27, Cedar City witnessed the grand opening of Tea & Brown, a culinary gem located at 655 W. 200 North, Suite 110. Owned by the talented Yucui Harpole, this establishment promises to introduce a unique and delicious experience to the local dining scene.
For those less acquainted with boba teas and poke bowls, here’s a brief introduction. Boba tea, also known as bubble tea, originates from Taiwan and offers a refreshing blend of tea, milk and/or fruit flavors with the added twist of chewy tapioca pearls at the bottom, creating a unique and delightful texture. Enjoyed through a colorful, oversized straw, it’s an adventure of flavors and textures in every sip.
Poke bowls are filled with fresh, diced raw tuna or salmon (or cooked meat for the less adventurous members of the family), and served over a bed of rice. These bowls are then garnished with your choice of seasonings, vegetables and delectable sauces, resulting in a wholesome and flavorful meal.
Velocity Builders oversaw the construction of Tea & Brown. This grand opening marks the second commercial space on the ground floor of the mixed-use building, with Skinology leading the way earlier this year.
Situated just a short walk from Southern Utah University’s campus, the building’s top floors were open for student housing last year. In the coming months, the building will welcome the grand openings of Fed Up Kitchen and the new office and showroom for Velocity Builders, offering insight into their innovative construction projects.
Tea & Brown’s grand opening is a flavorful invitation to Cedar City residents to embark on a culinary adventure. Whether you’re an adventurous foodie or simply curious to explore new tastes, this charming establishment is the place to be. Come, experience the fusion of flavors and let your taste buds revel in a world of culinary delight right here in Cedar City.
