St. George man sentenced to serve decades in prison following conviction in Texas death

ST. GEORGE — A St. George man who was arrested in connection with the slaying of a Texas man more than three decades ago was sentenced to serve decades in a Texas prison after pleading guilty to capital murder earlier this month.

OPINION — Laws need to change. My dear friend was t-boned in her car while stopped. Obviously, not her fault. The at-fault driver lives on government and church assistance. He had rock-bottom, basic insurance.
